Rob Libengood
Rob Libengood is a native Floridian, and was born and raised in Largo before moving to Hernando County after graduating high school. He joined the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy Sheriff and eventually rose to the rank of District Commander, before retiring in 2009. While working at the HCSO, he attended and later graduated from Saint Leo University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology.
After retirement, a close friend convinced him to get his insurance license, which he did before joining the Florida Farm Bureau Insurance agency in 2009, where he worked for 8 years as an agent selling and servicing nearly all types of insurance products. During his time at Florida Farm Bureau Insurance, Rob became very
aware of the importance of accurately explaining the complexities of insurance, particularly with Home and Auto insurance, and the importance of maintaining certain coverage to protect his client’s, and their assets.
This explanation and advice allowed his clients to make informed decisions to secure the coverage that met
their specific needs. Rob takes pride in the bond that he develops and enjoys with his clients, and continues to work closely with them to keep up with their needs as their lives change. Rob’s excited that he joined the Florida Best Quote Insurance Family as an independent agent in March 2017, and continues this same level of service to his clients for all of their insurance needs. The fact that Florida Best Quote represents so many different companies for insurance coverage, and the family atmosphere, is what attracted Rob to Florida Best Quote.
In addition to holding his 220 and 215 insurance licenses, Rob is also a Coast Guard licensed boat Captain. He enjoys spending time with his family on their boat, and enjoying the Fantastic Florida lifestyle!
